Wellness Evaluations

Wellness is the central trend for the coming decades

The Keys to Wellness
Every day we search for ways to feel better; this makes our days more enjoyable for ourselves as well as those around us. The recipe for success is a balanced diet combined with sufficient water intake, along with exercise.

Current Approaches to Weight Management
In an attempt to lose weight individuals have tried weight loss clubs, meal replacements/diets, gyms and health clubs, leading personal trainers and life coaches.

Wellness Evaluations
Herbalife’s Mission is to help change people’s lives by bringing health and well being around the world, one person at a time.

The Education Model
A Wellness Coach helps people become more conscious of their health, nutrition and well being by carrying out a three step education model. These steps are:
1. Educate and Review
This step is achieved by carrying out a Body and Nutrition Evaluation, followed by some advice on how to resolve any challenges. Body Evaluation is a series of measurements to determine such things as your fat %, the level of lean body mass,  metabolic rate and protein requirements. Using a body fat testing machine and lean protein indicator.

Ask the client to complete the Health & Well-Being questionnaire and while they are doing that estimate their typical water, protein and fibre intake.

2. Provide Solutions
Having identified the challenges that a customer has, and having offered some advice during Step One, the Wellness Coach is now in a position to inform the customer how she can be more precise in the help she can provide via programmes and products.

3 .Personalisation
For the triathlete wanting to lose 6lbs to the weight loss client wanting to lose 3 stone, to the individual wanting to gain weight, to the sports person wanting a fuelling and refuelling programme, to the person wanting more energy and vitality.

4. Support Customers
Once a person becomes a customer the Wellness Coach continually follows their progress by providing advice to keep them on their path towards their goals.

All the materials are available so that you can concentrate on the Wellness Evaluations i.e. booklets,  questionnaires, lean protein indicator, body fat testing machine so that you don't have to think. For example, see a  Wellness Evaluation Brochure (pdf document).  Also ask for a copy of the members hand book used in the Wellness Clubs.

Your details are added to our directories by postcode and you receive the marketing support /commercial support (e.g. tax advice) from BIG Marketing which as a personal trainer/ fitness instructor/therapist you may find difficult to generate by yourself.

What is Wellness?

“ The condition of good physical and mental health, especially when maintained by proper diet, exercise and habits.”–American Heritage Dictionary

“Wellness is about waking up every morning and having enough time, energy and freedom to live the life you want.”

The Keys to Optimum Wellness

1 – Balance Your Diet

You need to get enough of the right foods including colourful fruits and vegetables, protein, good carbohydrates and just enough good fats for the taste you want. You also need vitamins, minerals and fibre from dietary supplements to provide the nutrition missing from your diet that your cells need for good health.

2 – Exercise Regularly

Regular exercise can help you feel and look your best. Exercise conditions your heart and relieves stress and makes it easier to achieve and maintain a healthy body weight.

3 – Drink Lots of Water

Your body is about two-thirds water. In an average day, you lose at least one pint of water even without excessive sweating. To feel your best, you should drink 6 to 8 glasses of water a day.
