Training Seminars
Wellness is the central trend for the coming decades
The Seminar is a detailed presentation describing each and every step on how to start as a Wellness Coach.

The whole day is factual, classroom based and is led by existing wellness coaches who take you though the agenda below. And use the breaks, to chat to same wellness coaches, who have given up their time to attend, to put back into the system they have benefited from themselves.

We (BIG Marketing) use 5 star hotels all over the country for the training seminars.

Call 01932 889236 to check availability.

Unlike many other careers in Wellness you will not have to undertake months of expensive training before developing an income. We pride ourselves on offering compact and enjoyable training days that provide you with a step by step understanding on how to succeed in your new career. Our trainers were all once in the same position as you, and are therefore able to offer practical and personal descriptions on how they began. Usually 5-6 wellness coaches will take you through the agenda above and explain what they do day to day. There will be a mix of trainers working part time and full time in the business. So do take lots of notes.

Accredited Consultant Sports Science & Nutrition Specialist, Kunle Odetoyinbo

Kunle Odetoyinbo is an accredited consultant sport science and nutrition specialist, who has vast experience in elite sport both in the UK and abroad. In addition he provides exercise prescription, rehabilitation and lifestyle advice as part of his practice. He graduated from St Mary’s University College in 1990 with a combined Honours Degree in Human Biology and Sports Science whilst competing in semi-professional football and amateur athletics.

He then furthered his studies with an MSc Sports Science gained from Loughborough University and has since completed Post graduate Diplomas in nutritional medicine and sports nutrition (International Olympic committee).

Practically Kunle is a qualified club coach, with qualifications in athletics, football, tennis and basketball.

Some of his first appointments involved lecturing and research positions where physiology and nutrition were his main focus. At the University of Surrey Roehampton in 1995, he was granted a research fellowship and created the Sports Performance Assessment & Research Consultancy (SPARC) which continues to provide sport science support to elite sport. To this day he has maintained visiting lecturer status at other institutions including Oxford Brookes University and St Mary’s University College.

Kunle is currently more applied in his work in the sport performance-driven environment. This work has involved working with sports medicine specialists, managers/coaches of elite teams in premiership/championship football and rugby, as well as governing bodies of sport both in the UK and abroad.

When asked about what most excites him in sports science, he replied:

“I remain excited by the plasticity and adaptability of the human body and continue to strive to apply my knowledge and experience to aid performance, rehabilitation, health and wellbeing for all who consult me”.

Gary Phillips

With 19 years of experience in elite sport Gary has developed an understanding of the high performance environment, its demands and how to optimise preparation to maximise the talent of the athlete/player. He has worked for the Football Association, British Swimming  and the BOA during which time he has attended 2 Olympic Games, 2 Commonwealth Games, 2 FIFA World Cups various World and European Championships  and attended in excess of 120 training camps worldwide.

Sports and Medical Science can create an understanding of training impact through the  quantification of  the training load and consequently advise in the design of individualised preparation programmes (physical, nutritional, psychological, technical). Chrononutrition and bioavailability are key considerations. Through planned and structured conditioning/nutritional interventions the athletes adaptation capacities can be maximised, recovery enhanced and the incidence/severity of injury/illness minimized increasing the athletes “readiness” and availability for training and selection.

What is Wellness?

“ The condition of good physical and mental health, especially when maintained by proper diet, exercise and habits.”–American Heritage Dictionary

“Wellness is about waking up every morning and having enough time, energy and freedom to live the life you want.”

The Keys to Optimum Wellness

1 – Balance Your Diet

You need to get enough of the right foods including colourful fruits and vegetables, protein, good carbohydrates and just enough good fats for the taste you want. You also need vitamins, minerals and fibre from dietary supplements to provide the nutrition missing from your diet that your cells need for good health.

2 – Exercise Regularly

Regular exercise can help you feel and look your best. Exercise conditions your heart and relieves stress and makes it easier to achieve and maintain a healthy body weight.

3 – Drink Lots of Water

Your body is about two-thirds water. In an average day, you lose at least one pint of water even without excessive sweating. To feel your best, you should drink 6 to 8 glasses of water a day.

Steps for Achieving Optimum Wellness:

Have an evaluation of your personal wellness.

Identify key areas you need to impact to reach your wellness goals.

Get recommendations from your Personal Wellness Coach.

Make a plan of action that you can commit to.
